Lakewood Ranch's Carolyn Ray held a 10-1 lead over Chris McComas, a parks director for Lakewood Ranch Community Activities, in a game of cornhole at Bob Gardner Community Park Aug. 26.

"I'm not holding my breath that this will last," Ray said to McComas about her lead.

They switched to the other side to retrieve their bags and continue playing during Lakewood Ranch Community Activities' casual cornhole Aug. 26. With a few bags in the hole and some landing on top of the cornhole board, McComes recorded eight points, lessening Ray's lead to 10-9.

"See, I told you," Ray said.

Ray said casual cornhole gives her a chance to meet people in Lakewood Ranch and develop friendships with people with similar interests.
