Sarasota High School hosts drive-thru graduation ceremony

Sarasota High School put on an alternate drive-thru graduation ceremony at Cleland Stadium on July 16. Following the cancellation of the Sarasota High School's traditional commencement ceremony, staff came up with a new plan to celebrate its graduating seniors. Each student received a Sailor face mask to wear, drove with family members into the stadium and then exited at the 50-yard line one-at-a-time to accept their diplomas from Principal David Jones.Â
