The Friends of Selby Library Crystal Ball brought a little magic into the lives of those who attended the library's 10th annual fundraiser.

Labeled as "The People's Gala," the event featured a silent auction, live music from Kettle of Fish and more than 30 restaurant tasting booths. The Spirit University members offered free spiritual readings to attendees.

Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Selby Public Library.
