An Evening for a Healthy Start got off too a, well, great start.

The evening, with the attendees numbering over 200 people, offered up food from around Sarasota. Maggie Davenport made live art on glass panes for people walking past in the Sarasota Architectural Salvage on Jan. 31. An Evening for a Healthy Start celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.

Brenda Watty provided live entertainment and Heather Kirkendall spun hoops for the crowds.
