Women's Golf Association welcomes new members

The Women’s Golf Association is growing.

On Jan. 22, the Longboat Key Club group toasted eight of their 12 new members. About 65 golfers gathered in the Harbourside Ballroom for brunch followed by a round of golf.

Before brunch began, some of the women took a chance at a putting challenge. If they tapped a small vase full of golf balls, they received various gift cards.
