Jewish Federation celebrates 60 years in Sarasota

On its 60th anniversary, the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee  announced Sunday evening its campus has a new name. 

The Larry Greenspon Family Campus for Jewish Life honors the Longboat Key man who has spent time and money helping renovate the site at 580 McIntosh Road. 

Greenspon last year donated the first gift in the project to refurbish the 32-acre campus. 

The guests were treated to a performance by Booker High School's Visual Performing Arts group, which performed a melody of 1960s-1970s hits from performers such as Carole King and others. There were cupcakes available to everyone as they left.
