Longboat Key Democratic Club hears from Gary Massel

More than 80 people gathered for the monthly meeting Feb. 12 in the Harbourside Ballroom.

The Longboat Key Democratic Club on Feb. 12 continued its 2019 theme of focusing on threats to democracy.

On Tuesday, 85 club members and guests gathered in the Harbourside Ballroom as Gary Massel, formerly of the Office of the Secretary for Defense and the Institute for Defense Analysis, spoke on “the Rise of Populism.”
