Weekend warriors take over Friday Fest

Reggae band Jah Movement kicks off the Van Wezel's Friday Fest series.

Friday Fest returned to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on June 22 opening its annual free summer concert series with local reggae band Jah Movement. Hundreds of attendees covered the Bayside Lawn to enjoy the music, food trucks and view of the Sarasota Bay. The series continues on July 27 with Reverend Barry and The Funk.
