The American Jewish Committee West Coast Florida welcomed guests Aug. 15 to Michael's On East for the final 2018 Lunch & Learn lecture of the summer series.

Regional Director Brian Lipton announced this lecture brought in the most guests for a summer series to date. After a Greek salad lunch, a panel of guests discussed extremism and anti-Semitism in Europe. The speakers were Consul General of Germany, Annette Klein, and Consul General of France Clement Leclerc. The discussion was moderated by Emily Walsh.

The discussion raised questions on the effects, current standings and future of Germany and France in regards to confronting extremism and anti-Semitism. Guests were encouraged to ask questions once the panel discussion was completed.
