Bird Key Yacht Club changes watch

The club welcomed a new board of officers and thanked the outgoing one Feb. 24.

Bird Key Yacht Club celebrated its incoming and outgoing officers Feb. 24.

The annual Change of Watch took place at the club Saturday evening.

As guests arrived they were greeted by the officers before mingling during a cocktail hour. During dinner, the new officers were sworn in. The incoming commodore Bob Williams will take over from Charlie Wilson, who served as commodore for the 2016-2017 term.
