The Longboat Key Garden Club’s season is blooming.

Members gathered for their first meeting of the season Oct. 24 to hear Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Director of Botany Bruce Holst speak.

Holst discussed some of the research Selby is helping conduct on epiphytic plants in southern Belize.
