Friends of Tennis say farewell to season

As the final matches of the day finished up, The Longboat Key Tennis Center became a party scene.

Members of Friends of Tennis gathered for their annual end of season potluck dinner and captains’ appreciation dinner on March 28. As one court transformed into a buffet line, members piled their plates with fruit salad, meatballs, cupcakes, brownies and various other appetizers and desserts.

The Friends of Tennis is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote and enhance the sport at the Longboat Key Public Tennis Center.
