Booker High School Gospel Choir performs at Christ Church

Christ Church, Presbyterian, of Longboat Key members had a special way to work off their dinner on March 22.

Following the church’s monthly Wednesday night dinner, which was a pasta dinner for this month, the Booker High School Gospel Choir Club performed numerous songs for the members. Their first song, “Cry Holy,” had the audience members on their feet and clapping.

The choir was formed in 2006 for students to express their love of music. The choir has performed locally and around the country at various events including weddings and graduation ceremonies.
