Key Niners golf and groove with guests

Members and their guests enjoyed a '70s-themed morning of golf.

It was a groovy Tuesday for the Key Niners Golf Association on March 14.

From pink retro tablecloths to tie-dye ensembles, the Harbourside Dining Room of the Longboat Key Club was like a time machine back into the ‘70s for the association’s annual member-guest day.

Association members invited friends to play alongside them on the Harbourside golf course. Some teams, of course, wore matching outfits. Tie-dye shirts and peace signs seemed to be the most popular clothing trends of the day. Following a round of golf, the golfers enjoyed lunch before the winners were announced.
