As first-graders at Freedom Elementary School stood on stage Dec. 7, they belted out their best "Ho! Ho! Ho!"s and launched into holiday-inspired songs for their schoolmates. The first-grade Christmas Carol Program featured a sing-along show, presented to parents later that evening. The evening performance coincided with the Cookies with Santa and Holiday Shop event, at which students took pictures with Santa, feasted on cookies, painted kindness rocks and wrote and mailed letters to Santa.
