St. Mary appoints new officers

With the end of season, comes some change.

St. Mary Star of the Sea, Catholic Church, held their annual Women’s Guild  installation lunch on April 4. Following mass, the new board of officers was officially appointed to their new positions.

Ginny Akhoury was appointed as the new president. She greeted the lunching ladies and thanked everyone for their hard work on the church’s Christmas Bazaar, Royal Rummage Sale and fashion show among other events and projects over the last year. She also shared how she had hoped for new members throughout the year and was thankful to now have some of them on the board with her.

“I look forward to a beautiful year to come,” she said.
