It wouldn’t be a proper Longboat Key send-off if it didn’t involve a beach sunset.
So, in order to give their snowbirds a proper farewell, about 70 Winding Oaks residents gathered at Bay Isles Beach Club on April 2. Complete with an ice cream truck, food catered from Ciao Italia restaurant and live music performed by Steve Organek, the residents had everything necessary for a sunset celebration.
