Longboat Island Chapel honors local students

Longboat Island Chapel members celebrated Mother’s Day with the church’s annual Scholarship Sunday May 8.

Longboat Island Chapel members celebrated Mother’s Day with the church’s annual Scholarship Sunday May 8.

The church awarded scholarships to sixteen students from Longboat Key and surrounding areas.

At the service, members also donated items for Riverview High School’s Cyesis program, which helps teenage parents.
