Guests donned their brightest green attire and hats for the occasion Saturday night at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.

The 7th annual Irish Celebration was in honor of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day with the Rev. Michael Cannon named the Chief Brehon for the event. Guests also dined on a traditional Irish meal of corned beef, carrots, potatoes and cabbage was catered by TooJay's deli.

The main attraction for the evening was a performance by the Drake School of Irish Dance. The congregation also wished the best of luck to the dancers who have qualified for the World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow, Scotland next weekend.
