More than 200 people attended Save Our Seabirds’ fifth annual Sunset Soiree Thursday, March 10, at Mote Marine Laboratory.

The event featured silent and live auctions and a raffle, with prizes such as trips to Rome and Ireland and a private tour of the Center for Great Apes. The Resort at Longboat Key Club provided food and drinks for dinner.
Proceeds from the evening will go toward Save Our Seabirds, which rescues and rehabilitates birds.
