Selby Gardens gets patriotic with 'All-American BBQ'

The great lawn of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens was transformed into every guest’s backyard with games and picnic tables to celebrate the Fourth of July with the 'All-American BBQ.'
Live music, hot barbecue and frozen treats were all on the menu for the evening. The main course was a prime view of Sarasota Bay for the fireworks display.
Families scouted out the perfect spot hours before the show began with blankets and lawn chairs with an unobstructed view of Sarasota Bay.
