The Longboat Key Center for the Arts hosted a contemporary glass art weekend from Jan. 28 to 31.

The weekend marked the second year in collaboration with the Habatat Galleries in Royal Oaks, Mich.

The weekend included opening receptions in Sarasota and Longboat Key, a home tour of glass art collectors and an international glass auction.

“Longboat Key and the Sarasota area has formed a tremendous amount of excitement for glass art,” Habatat Galleries President Corey Hampson said.
