Beachside gatherings should happen more often and thankfully, Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida is planning on making its new event "Wishes on the Water" an annual affair. More than 100 guests attended the event on Thursday, Jan. 21, at The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, where they spent the evening roasting marshmallows and making s'mores, sending sky lanterns with written wishes off into the sky and in the middle of it all, got to enjoy a stunning Sarasota sunset.Â
