Runners finish strong for Ringling Bridge Run

Sarasota YMCA hosts the 13th annual Ringling Bridge Run.

A reprieve from stormy weather gave participants a sunny and clear morning for the 13th annual Ringling Bridge Run Saturday, Jan. 16.

The Sarasota YMCA hosted the four-mile road race began at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The route took runners  south on Tamiami Trail before climbing up the John Ringling Bridge. At the end of the bridge runners turned around the repeat the course back to the finish line. 

For runners looking to take a slower pace there was a one-mile fun run.
