The Selby Public Library sprung to life for the 6th annual Looking Into The Crystal Ball fundraiser Wednesday evening.Â
Friends of the Selby Public Library hosted the annual event to bring together the community. More than a dozen restaurants lined the library serving signature entrees and sweets.Â
The evening progressed with back-to-back performances ranging from the tap dancing troupe The Flash Tappers to Dr. Marguerite Barnett and her twirling flame skirt.Â
Among the books upstairs a different kind of storytelling took place. Elysian Fields tarot and astrology readers were available to guests seeking answers to life's questions.Â
Proceeds from the event will benefit youth programs at the Selby Public Library.Â
