The Literacy Council of Sarasota welcomed guests for the 9th annual Literacy Matters Luncheon Friday at Michael's on East.Â
Sarasota County Libraries & Historical Resources Director Sarabeth Kalajian was awarded the James E. Duffy Friend of Literacy Award. Ted Lindenberg was honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award.Â
