Blueberry, bran and cream cheese: First Watch of Lakewood Ranch carted in 1,248 muffins and 18 gallons of coffee for Robert E. Willis's annual Moms and Muffins event Thursday, Feb. 4.
"We usually get around 700 people," said Deb Hossenlopp, PTO vice president. "It's our way of saying thank you to the parents for everything they do for us."
The event has been held every year since the school opened in 2005 and is organized by Willis's PTO.
Moms, grandmothers and students filled the Willis cafeteria for Moms and Muffins.
