Temple Beth Israel greets snowbirds

Fleeing the snow up North, the last of Temple Beth Israel’s snowbirds finally made it back to Longboat Key.

Their arrival warranted the temple’s annual Men’s Club Shalom Again Dinner on Dec. 17, which brought about 80 members to dinner catered by Mattison’s.

“It’s a very festive thing,” Isaac Azerad said. “A feel good, get together, eat excellent food and listen to music [event].”

Attendees also enjoyed live music by The Art of Jazz featuring Kitt Moran.
