The Longboat Key Democratic Club enjoyed an education lunch at its monthly meeting on Dec. 13.

David L. Barkey, Anti-Defamation League’s Southeastern Area counsel and National Religious Freedom counsel, spoke to the group about the elements, impacts and offenders of hate crimes.

The club meets once a month for lunch at Portofino Restaurant.
