The Florida Center transports Sarasotans to a winter wonderland

The 29th-Annual Festival of Trees lived up to its “Winter Woods” theme.

Supporters of The Florida Center for Early Childhood were ‘walkin in a winter wonderland’ when they stepped into the Michael’s On East ballroom on Friday, Dec. 2. The room was adorned in snow-white decor, including sparkling winter trees and blue snowflakes cast on the walls.

Before dinner, guests socialized in the courtyard and had the opportunity to bid on several themed trees and other auction items — everything from a University of Florida-themed Christmas tree to an American Girl doll. After the cocktail hour, attendees adjourned to the ballroom for dinner and dancing.
