Bird Key blesses its fleet

184 members gathered for the blessing, cocktail hour and dinner.

Bird Key Yacht Club kicked off its holiday season over the weekend.

The club held its annual Blessing and Lighting of the Fleet on Dec. 3. Each boat docked at the club was decorated with Christmas lights and following the blessing, the boats lit up.

184 people attended the event which included a cocktail hour followed by dinner.
