There was an abundance of red wine and matza as families met for a congregation-wide Seder dinner Friday evening at Temple Emanu-El.Â
Families and friends shared tables to mark the first night of Passover together. In the center of each table the traditional Seder tray with six items each a symbolic reminder of the slavery endured by the Hebrews in Egypt.Â
Each of the six items on a Seder tray has a symbolic meaning.
Conrad Wicks says he has a matching t-shirt for his Matza yamaka.
Traditional Matza flatbread was served alongside the Seder dinner.
