Sarasota GOP honors Gov. Rick Scott

The Sarasota County Republican Party hosted hundreds for the annual Statesman Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota Thursday evening. 

Guests took in a VIP party before the ceremony and dinner portion that included the “Statesman of the Year” award presented to Gov. Rick Scott. The “Patriot of the Year” award was presented to former Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill. O’Neill takes credit for firing the shots that Osama Bin Laden.
