“All of the artists came to the residency thinking they’d do their own thing, but every one of them has been influenced by the Key, and it’s inspired their artwork.” — Jeanine Tatlock, Longboat Key Center for the Arts assistant

Guests took a sneak peek into artists’ work at Through the KEYhole on Sept. 26 at Longboat Key Center for the Arts.

The artists featured are part of SartQ’s Key Influence, a two-month residency on Longboat Key. Their art is inspired by the Key, and the exhibition will open Oct. 9.

“It’s a very special place,” Artist Tim Jaeger said. “It’s an amazing to be a part of this. We’re fortunate to have this opportunity.”
