A sold-out crowd of more than 350 residents sampled their way around Gulf Gate Public Library Thursday evening.Â
The Taste of Gulf Gate event brought together 25 local restaurants and shops to provide tastings of their specialities. The library was open after normal business hours for the event to benefit the Friends of Gulf Gate Library and came to life with music, food and wine.Â
"I volunteer here and it's nice to see the library in this light," said Paul Wax.Â
