Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast hosts families for day of activities and marine conservation.

Families spent the afternoon picnicking at Bay Preserve on Little Sarasota Bay for the annual Fall Family Festival Saturday, Nov. 7.Â
The free event was hosted by the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast for families to enjoy a day outdoor. Â
Activities include craft booths, planting, games and live music. Children also had the opportunity to wade in the waters with nets and ride in kayaks to learn more about the marine biology that calls Little Sarasota Bay home. Â
The day also included free admission to neighboring Historic Spanish Point.Â

Guests were treated to activities like decorating potted plants. The featured plant was the lyre leaf sage.
