Scallywags and swashbucklers overran Braden River High School grounds Friday, Nov. 6, for the final day of homecoming week.
For spirit day, students donned their favorite school and pirate gear. Outfits ranged from a football uniform to a buccaneer complete with a shoulder parrot. The student government association, which organized the events for homecoming week, selected the most spirited students of the week. The football team faces Gibbs High School tonight at 7:30 p.m.
For some seniors, homecoming week was bittersweet. Sedona Dunsmore said the four years went by "so fast."
"Over the years, everyone's participated more and more (in homecoming)," said senior Ally Rahn. "Our school takes so much pride in everything it does. I wouldn't want to have spent the four years anywhere else."
