Shamrock Pub was packed last night for the Young Philanthropists' celebrity bartending event, featuring "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" star Ty Pennington and Les McCurdy, of McCurdy's Comedy Theatre.

The two men joined fellow guest bartenders from Young Philanthropists behind the bar to serve up beer to raise money to fund college scholarships for the Sarasota YMCA Y-Achievers and allow Triad Alternative School students to attend a lab class at Mote Marine.
