Water Club condominium sells for $2.4 million

A condominium in the Water Club at Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate.

A condominium in the Water Club at Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. George and Hope Gronwall, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 202 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Sharon Robinson, trustee, of Burr Ridge, Ill., for $2.4 million. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, five baths and 3,400 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.55 million in 2007.

Emerald Pointe North
Jay Burchfield, trustee, and Maureen Burchfield, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 5 condominium at 2065 Harbour Links Drive to Sharon Ritchey and Julia Fosson, of Arden, N.C., for $1.1 million. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pool and 2,865 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1 million in 2012.

Queens Harbour
Thomas Cail, of Longboat Key, sold his home at 3534 Fair Oaks Lane to Herbert Hirsch, of New York City, for $949,000. Built in 1998, it has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, a pool and 2,541 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $577,200 in 1998.

Seaplace
Thomas and Jackie Michaelides, of Columbus, Ohio, sold their Unit M1-208-J condominium at 2045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Lori Alicea, of New Hyde Park, N.Y., for $710,000. Built in 1974, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,532 square feet of living area. 

Kingston Arms
Lawrence and Martha Zeigler, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 22A condominium at 500 S. Washington Drive to Erich Kessinger and Kasandra Botti, of Boalsburg, Pa., for $430,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,324 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2002.

Longbeach
Carolyn Pol, trustee, and John Pol, of Mason, Ohio, sold the Unit 12 condominium at 7065 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Dorothy McCourt, of Bradenton, for $425,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,170 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 1985.

Continental’s Sea Club
Marcus and Patricia Imsande sold their Unit 27 condominium at 4141 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Leroy and Gaylen Bristol, of Clay, Mich., for $405,000. Built in 1960, it has one bedroom, one bath and 529 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $240,000 in 2002.  

Bay Harbour
Bruce Goldstein, trustee, sold the Unit 207 condominium at 450 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Sarah Samaha, trustee, of Sugar Hill, N.H., for $350,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,250 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2011.  

Longboat Harbour
Richard Herz, trustee, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., sold the Unit 208 condominium at 4360 Chatham Drive to Kevin and Heidi Berry, of Naperville, Ill., for $200,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,092 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 2001. 

St. Armands

John Ringling Estates
Joern Sroka sold his home at 460 N. Washington Drive to J.R. Real Estate Properties Inc. for $2.1 million. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.65 million in 2013.

Terry Templeton, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 314 S. Polk Drive to Douglas Runkel and Mary Roberts, of Houston, for $880,000. Built in 1951, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,976 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $700,000 in 2003. 

Lido Key

Lido Harbour South
Clifford and Nancy Rudd, trustees, of Niles, Ill., sold the Unit 304 condominium at 2110 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Russell and Janet Makepeace, of Chevy Chase, Md., for $420,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,248 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $146,100 in 1991.
