Democratic Club prepares for the holidays

The Democratic Club of Sarasota hosted a holiday celebration and meeting Monday, Dec. 14 at the Bayfront Community Center. 

Members and guests enjoyed food, wine and even a sing-a-long portion with holiday music. The featured speaker for the event was Neil Phillips, founder and principal of Visible Men Academy. Phillips explained the progress of the charter school that specializes in integrating character development with academic proficiency for elementary boys.
