Dozens of skateboarders rolled through Southside Village Saturday morning for the CaliFlorida Longboard Extravaganza.
The 8.8-mile route took skaters on two laps around the north end of Siesta Key starting in the village. The route started north on Ocean Boulevard and connected them to Midnight Pass Road before turning onto Beach Road. The 4.4-mile route took the same roads with only one lap. A 2.6-mile route for children took back roads near CaliFlorida.
