The consignment store has clothes, as well as home goods and accessories. It even has a special section for dog-themed items.
Buddy and his foster parent, Debbie Rubin, hung out outside to greet customers. Buddy, a 7-year-old vizsla mix, was found abandoned on University Parkway. He will be available for adoption in a week to 10 days.
Cheryl Johnson came to help at the event, but checked out a few clothes for sale, too.

What's better than shopping a good sale, and getting to play with adoptable dogs?
The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch held a special discount sale at its consignment store, Second Chance Boutique, in Lakewood Ranch. The store offered a 20% discount while allowing shoppers—including shelter volunteers who came to support the event—to pet some of the organization's eligible pups.
All profits from the boutique support the rescue.
"There's an overabundance of dogs and cats that need homes. Adopting is so important," said Rebekah Boos, a board member.
