Daly qualifies to run for District 4 commission seat

Jack Daly has qualified to run for the District 4 seat of the Longboat Key Town Commission in the town’s March general municipal election.

Daly, 78, is vice chairman of the Longboat Key Planning and Zoning Board and also serves as president of Club Longboat’s condominium association.

Mayor Jim Brown has held the District 4 seat for the past five-and-a-half years and will term limit out of office next spring.
