WATCH: Keeping it old school with Mouthole BBQ

For Ray and Nicole Mabalot, owners of Mouthole BBQ, when it comes to barbecue, it's gotta be old school. Mouthole, Sarasota's newest small-batch pop-up barbecue operation, or as they call it, "ninja barbecue," was born out of the couple's love for feeding friends at parties.

When they started taking things more seriously, they got a bigger smoker and officially opened up their business — traditional-style barbecue with a nod to West-Coast food-truck culture, serving up brisket, pulled pork, chicken, tacos, candied bacon and even desserts.
