A Bradenton man has died from injuries sustained during a traffic accident on Interstate 75 Monday evening.

A Florida Highway Patrol report states 63-year-old Cirilo Rubio died following an accident on I-75, at State Road 70.

An FHP report states Rubio's 2002 Isuzu Rodeo was headed northbound in the outside lane near mile marker 216, when it veered into the center lane to avoid slower traffic ahead. The driver overcorrected to the right, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its left side.

Rubio's vehicle rolled twice before coming to a hault.

Northbound I-75 lanes were closed for about two hours for Bayflite and cleanup, the report states.
