Happy Friday, Sarasota. Here are our best bets for this weekend:

  • Sarasota Exotic Car Fest: Great Gatsby Jetport Party — takes place at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Retrix Aerodome. Cost is $185. Put on your best '20s garb and get ready to party, old sport.
  • Homeward Bound: Not a Planet, Teach Me Equals and MeteorEYES — takes place at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at Grolwer's Pub. Cost is $5. Welcome home Sarasota music scene veterans Teach Me Equals as they return after their lengthy national tour. They'll be joined by Kansas City based Not a Planet and fellow locals MeteorEYES.
  • Micro, Solo, Afcro-Skynet, Str8 and Damien Elektrik — takes place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at Cabana Inn. Free. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to drop the bass at this live DJ event featuring both local and national acts.
  • Fueler Inc. Rally — takes place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 starting at Robarts Arena. Get your motor running at this event, which will feature dozens of sports and exotic cars.
