1. 232 Seagull Lane, Bird Key
Douglas and Cynthia Tibbetts, of Sarasota, sold their home on Bird Key at 232 Seagull Lane to Mark and Ellen DiZio, of Sarasota, for $6.1 million in April. Built in 2006, it has five bedrooms, five baths, two half-baths, a pool and 7,287 square feet of living area.

2. 2735 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key
H. Lee Scott, trustee, and Linda Scott, of Golden Oak, sold the home at 2735 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Vail Properties LLC for $5.75 million in November. Built in 2008, it has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, three half-baths, a pool and 6,737 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $6,650,200 in 2010.

3. Unit S-301 at La Firenza, 4125 Gulf of Mexico Drive
Michael and Christina Reeder, of Roswell, Ga., sold their Unit S-301 condominium at La Firenza, 4125 Gulf of Mexico Drive, to August Troendle, trustee, of Cincinnati, for $4.2 million in April. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 4,810 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $4,340,300 in 2007.

4. 647 Mourning Dove Drive, Bird Key
James Courter and Mark Hodgson, of University Park, sold their home at 647 Mourning Dove Drive to Mark Lucas and Aimee Sottialro, of Sarasota, for $4 million. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, five baths, two half-baths, a pool and 4,854 square feet of living area.

5. Unit 801 at Ritz-Carlton Beach Residences, 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive
BIG Family Holdings LLC sold Unit 801 at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Residences, 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Gustavo and Beatriz Arvelo, of Windemere, for $3,965,000 in May. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 4,194 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.33 million in February 2006.

6. Unit C1001 at Orchid Beach Club Residences, 2052 Benjamin Franklin Drive
Maria Longhi, of Tampa, sold Unit C1001 at Orchid Beach Club Residences, 2052 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to Ronald and Patricia Taylor, of Burr Ridge, Ill., for $3.9 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, one half-bath and 4,229 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.4 million in April 2009.

7. Unit C901, Orchid Beach Club Residences, 2052 Benjamin Franklin Drive
John Micera, trustee, of Sarasota, sold Unit C901 at Orchid Beach Club Residences, 2052 Benjamin Franklin Drive, to OBICI LLC, of Sarasota, for $3.8 million in August. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, one half-bath and 4,229 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3,165,000 in September 2005.

8. 132 N. Washington Drive, John Ringling Estates
Frank and Carole Krohn, trustees, sold the home in the John Ringling Estates at 132 N. Washington Drive to Jeffrey and Penny Vinik, of Tampa, for $3.5 million in May. Built in 1950, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,123 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 1982.

9. 165 Whittier Drive, John Ringling Estates
Marshall and Nancy Hanley, of Indianapolis, sold their home at 165 Whittier Drive to Eclipse Partners II LLC for $3,496,000 in July. Built in 1952, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,743 square feet of living area.

10. 447 Meadow Lark Drive, Bird Key
Timothy Holt sold his home at 447 Meadow Lark Drive to James Lippert, trustee, of Sarasota, for $3.4 million in January. Built in 1997, it has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool and 4,778 square feet of living area. It last sold for $1,859,500 in April 1998.
