Lakewood Ranch woman still missing

Manatee County authorities continue to search for 19-year-old Brittany Ormsby, who was visiting her mother's home in Lakewood Ranch last weekend when she left without telling her mother.

Ormsby, a white female with shoulder-length brown hair, is mentally disabled and is not able to property care for herself, a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report states.

She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, white shorts and riding an older green bicycle. She was reported missing June 22.

Ormsby frequently visits Sarasota and it is assumed she is heading in that direction, the report states.
