State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota cancels classes today

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has cancelled classes for students today.

The school's offices and all other activities at SCF Lakewood Ranch, SCF Bradenton, SCF Venice and all other locations have been cancelled June 25, due to hazardous conditions caused by Tropical Storm Debby, SCF President Lars Hafner announced this morning.

Only essential personnel for emergency operations will be allowed on campus, upon authorization, during the mandatory shut down.

Classes and regular college activities will resume Tuesday, June 26. Any additional schedule changes will be posted at scf.edu.
