Dead body found in wooded area

Early this morning Sarasota County Sheriff's Office responded to a incident about a possible dead body in a wooded area near Tuttle Ave. and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

After searching the area the body of a white male was discovered. The investigation has been turned over to the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Section. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sarasota Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section at 861-4900 or Crime Stoppers at 366-TIPS(8477)
